Nintendo No Longer Wants You to Celebrate “Wigger Wednesday”

Earlier today over at Nintendo of America’s Twitter account, Nintendo decided to cast a vote:

Reply with “WAAAA” to celebrate “#WaluigiWednesday” and reply with a flower symbol to celebrate “#WiggerWednesday”.

A short while later the tweet was deleted, but not quite soon enough for people to take a screenshot. It’s safe to assume they meant to say “#WigglerWednesday” and forgot to proofread their post beforehand. They probably started to notice the typo when people were replying with a “WAAAA?!!” instead of “#WAAAA”. Let’s hope whoever is in charge of their Twitter account didn’t lose their job over this and learned from their mistake. Oops!
